Roxie the Dog needs a home
Meet Roxie!
Roxie is a lovable girl who enjoys doing anything and everything! She has lived a very sheltered life, but she is excited to explore everything the world has to offer with a new family! Roxie was a puppy bought from a backyard breeder to a family that had never owned a dog before. They didn't know much about caring for a dog. They did not exercise, play with, train, or even feed her properly, so when she arrived at Adopt-A-Dog she was skinny, full of pent up energy, and very jumpy. She didn't even know how to play with toys! In just a few weeks of consistent training, Roxie is already showing a huge improvement in her behavior! She is not jumping as much and is taking very well to basic obedience training. She is still working on learning to walk better on leash, but we have even seen improvement with that as well! She has learned how to play with toys and now gets regular exercise which helps her to relax throughout the rest of the day! Roxie would do best in an adult only home being the only pet.
